Biography

Robson Nogueira is one of those rare musicians. Born into a family of Northeastern, Indian and European origins, grew up on the coast where absorbed these influences in an unconscious way, no predictions of universality that permeates his musical world in the future. Experiencing and discovering music, early charmed by the samba and began to devote himself to the guitar. With touched on musicianship and technical facility noticeable, even at thirteen years of age, falls in love with the ukulele and percussion, starting his career as a musician at night accompanying singers and performing with groups of samba and choro.
Later, at nineteen, Robson discovers the piano. Already incorporated with the music in your life with a broad harmonic and melodic knowledge because of crying, felt no difficulty venturing by this new instrument, urging him to further deepen the possibilities to express your music making. At this time, knew and heard Brazilian instrumental music, great composers enshrined in that country, in addition to classical music and of course, jazz.
It was in this state of consciousness that the multi-instrumentalist leaves the coast and will study piano at the renowned Conservatory of Dramatic and Musical Tatuí, the largest in Latin America. There is the opportunity to develop their technique, composition and improvisation with grandessíssimos musicians such as Fabio Torres (Trio corrente), André Marques (Hermeto Pascoal), Fábio Leal (Mente Clara) and IRIO Junior (Nene Trio). Always drawing the attention of musicians because their performances on piano, ukulele, percussion, guitar, bass guitar and against, even before they completed the required eight-year course, graduating in Robson popular piano with only two years of study at the conservatory .
Thereafter, the already mature pianist begins to build his solo career, releasing his compositions in his first authorial album entitled "Is this," 2008, played by singer Nadja Soares. Alongside great performer Celso Lake, created the "Brazilian Essence", a group that was inspired by the songs and genuinely national swing, performing throughout the country and also in Europe. Based in São Paulo, has participated in his career as an arranger and composer of several works in the state capital, and deepen the creative sound provided by the encounter with the musician Paulio Cele. intense conversations through the language of music result in universal joy and surrender to that which guides the life of Robson, his indispensable companion: a musical intuition.
In August 2014 Robson attended a prestigious jazz festival in Eastern Europe, Udvar Jazz Festival in Hungary, presented Robson Nogueira Trio playing their own compositions and some Brazilian songwriters such as Tom Jobim, Filo Machado, Hermeto Pascoal and others.
It is worth remembering those who were light illuminating the way forward for the road ahead: Filo Machado welcomed him into their sound and grew up with the boy Robson, for two consecutive years - 2006, 2007-with the result of a successful partnership participation Festival international de Jazz de Quito in Ecuador.
